We currently collect and process the following information:

• Emails and phone numbers
• Video
• Photographs
• Names
• Information about your experience with the theatre company.

Most of the personal information we process is provided to us directly by you for one of the following reasons:

• You have or are going to participated in a performance as a member of the audience and bought a ticket
• You have been or will be part of one of our workshops and left your details with us
• You wish to receive updates about what we are doing

We use the information that you have given us in order to contact you or to give evidence to our funders of your participation in our events. We may also use your picture or film with your permission to show to others or as evidence to our funders for the work we are doing. 

We may share this information with our current funders or on social media.

Under the UK General Data Protection Regulation (UK GDPR), the lawful bases we rely on for processing this information are: 

(a) Your consent. You are able to remove your consent at any time. You can do this by contacting footprintscic@gmail.com and asking for your name and details to be removed.

(b) We have a contractual obligation to our funders to provide evidence of good use of their funds by providing information from those who have participated in the project.

Your information is securely stored. 

We keep your personal details (name, address, phone number) for 5 years. We will then dispose your information by removing the information from the computer securely. All digital data will be purged  from the account in a two-step process by (i) permanently deleting the email which will move it to a Recoverable Items folder. (ii) purge the message from the Recoverable Items folder.

Any items on paper will be shredded for safety.

Under data protection law, you have rights including:

Your right of access - You have the right to ask us for copies of your personal information. 

Your right to rectification - You have the right to ask us to rectify personal information you think is inaccurate. You also have the right to ask us to complete information you think is incomplete. 

Your right to erasure - You have the right to ask us to erase your personal information in certain circumstances. 

Your right to restriction of processing - You have the right to ask us to restrict the processing of your personal information in certain circumstances. 

Your right to object to processing - You have the the right to object to the processing of your personal information in certain circumstances.

Your right to data portability - You have the right to ask that we transfer the personal information you gave us to another organisation, or to you, in certain circumstances.

You are not required to pay any charge for exercising your rights. If you make a request, we have one month to respond to you.
